2025 Department of Medicine Scholarship Day was held on April 15th in the Student Union. The day began with a poster session featuring clinical vignettes, clinical research, and basic science research authored by both trainees and faculty. The Nephrology Division earned recognition by authoring the most posters. The event concluded with Medicine Grand Rounds by the keynote speaker, Dr. Javed Butler, Distinguished Professor of Medicine at UMMC and current President and Chief Research Executive at Baylor Scott and White Research Institute. He is also Senior Vice President of Baylor Health.
