Dr. Trey Clark, Assistant Professor in Cardiology, was awarded an American Heart Association (AHA) Career Development Grant. The grant is awarded for 3 years and will fund the project “Home Based Hypertension Management using Remote Blood Pressure Telemonitoring.” Dr. Clark was also selected to serve as a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease Leadership Council. Dr. Clark’s 3-year term begins April 2019. This national council serves as the ACC lead for issues related to the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
