It has been an honor to serve this past year as chief residents of the internal medicine residency program at UMMC. It has been an outstanding year and we have learned even more about why this residency program is so exceptional – it is full of wonderful people. The residents and leadership here at UMMC are truly phenomenal and committed to excellence allowing the program to change and adapt for a brighter future. It has been a blessing for all of us to be a part of such growth.
This year has been an incredible experience for us all and has led to an acquisition of valuable traits that we can carry forward into the future. Likewise, we have come to appreciate the time and dedication our leadership puts into this program to make it remarkable. Collectively, we have cherished the time spent with our residents and the friendships we have made along the way.
We are truly grateful for such a rewarding experience. We are proud of UMMC and its path towards new beginnings and we look forward to what the future holds for this remarkable institution.
