Master Clinician Award – Dr. Charles Moore (Cardiology)
This award is for the faculty member showing exemplary clinical skills, dedicated to the compassionate care of patients, and improves clinical care of patients through program development, quality improvement or routine patient care. This award highlights the clinician who goes above and beyond and demonstrates outstanding professional behavior, trustworthiness and teamwork.
Outstanding Service Faculty Award – Dr. Bryan Barksdale (Cardiology)
This award is for the faculty member who has excelled in the area of service at the institutional or regional level or in his or her own professional communities. This person gives selflessly of his or her time either through advocacy work, outreach, education or community service to better the lives of others.
Outstanding Service Staff Award – Connie Watson (Cardiology)
This award is for the member of the staff within the department who has excelled in his or her specific area of expertise and service at the departmental or institutional level.
