Candice Adams has been appointed the Director of Ambulatory Services for the Department of Medicine. In this role, she will be responsible for helping develop goals and strategies, implement process interventions, and manage trends for the DOM ambulatory practices for all divisions.

Candice has over 20 years of experience in the medical practice operations, including as a member of the Department of Medicine’s management team for the last decade. She has held numerous positions, including business operations management for the General Internal Medicine and Hypertension as well as Allergy and Immunology Divisions, ambulatory operations director for the Pavilion and LB internal medicine suites, wound care clinic and palliative care services development, and Watkins GI and Allergy/Immunology practices. She has also served on various ad hoc committees and projects related to Epic build and optimization, revenue cycle operations, HR processes, reporting/data analytics, and others. She enjoys spending time away from work with her family, including her husband Austin, and two children Katelyn and Jackson. She also enjoys travel, interior design, cooking, sewing, and cheering on the MSU bulldogs.
