Drs. Trey Abraham and Michal Senitko recently published the article “Feasibility of Using the O-Arm Imaging System During ENB-rEBUS-guided Peripheral Lung Biopsy: A Dual-center Experience” in the Journal of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology. In the article, the two interventional pulmonologists, along with faculty from the University of Minnesota, describe a novel approach to the biopsy of peripheral lung nodules. They describe using an adjunctive modality added to navigational bronchoscopy which allows them to confirm instrument location within the lesion in question.
