Congratulations to our 2021 Medical Student Summer Research Program Mentors

Congratulations and thanks to these faculty members selected as Medical Student Research Program (MSRP) Summer of Research Mentors!

As an MSRP mentor, each faculty has taken on the responsibility of mentoring a rising M2 student on a biomedical research project throughout the summer. Additionally, each developed and are implementing mentoring plans that focus on the student’s professional development, as well as research knowledge and skills.

The MSRP Summer of Research is the largest program on campus for medical students to gain exposure to biomedical research. Our goal is that each participant gains a better understanding and appreciation for biomedical research through the MSRP Summer of Research, and that some will continue on toward future careers as physician scientists. Without mentors like your faculty members, the MSRP would not be possible.
