Dr. Meredith Sloan, PGY-4 in Pulmonary and Critical Care, has been selected to the ACP Council for Resident and Fellow Members. Seven trainees were chosen nationally to serve on the council for a 2-year term beginning in April 2022. The Council advises the ACP Board of Directors on matters relating to both resident and fellow members. Dr. Sloan received her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina before coming to UMMC for residency and serving as an internal medicine chief resident. Congratulations Dr. Sloan!
