At UMMC, Dr. Hall also holds faculty appointments in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, and in the Department of Radiology. In addition to serving as associate division director for the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases, he holds many leadership roles, including director of clinical and population science in the Mississippi Center for Clinical and Translational Research; associate program director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program; and cardiac imaging director for the Cardiovascular Service Line.

Dr. Hall holds editorial positions with a variety of professional journals and is the lead author or co-author on more than 120 published research manuscripts, as well as a dozen book chapters. He is an investigator on numerous active NIH research grants.
