Dr. Blake LeBlanc, categorical internal medicine PGY-1, was chosen as a recipient of the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award by the third year medical student class. The award, sponsored by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, was given to one of six residents at UMMC who have demonstrated an enthusiastic commitment to teaching and who serve as role models for the compassionate treatment of patients and families, students, and colleagues. Dr. LeBlanc was recognized at the Gold Humanism Induction Banquet last month. Congratulations Dr. LeBlanc!
