
Congratulations to Dr. Jimmy Stewart on celebrating 25 years at UMMC! Dr. Stewart is a Professor in the divisions of General Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is currently serving as the Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education. In this role, Dr. Stewart oversees all 700+ residents and fellows at UMMC. Dr. Stewart also serves as Co-Investigator of an American Medical Association grant to transform the way physicians are trained entitled The GOL2D Project (Goals of Life and Learning Delineated). Dr. Stewart has served in the past as the Medicine-Pediatrics Program Director, Associate Program Director, and Course Director of Introduction to Clinical Medicine course for medical students. He also currently serves as the Vice Chair for Faculty Development for the Department of Medicine.
