This month, the Division of Clinical Immunology was created with Dr. Gailen Marshall serving as the inaugural Division Chair. The Division has two Sections – Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology. The Division is taking referrals from throughout the state and has recently developed a telemedicine-based remote practice to provide convenience for those patients whom travel would be challenging or impossible. The Division’s six faculty members have expertise in all aspects of clinical immunology, including asthma, drug and food allergy, anaphylaxis, chronic rhinosinusitis, autoimmune, and collagen vascular diseases. Both sections continue to have fellowship training programs in both allergy-immunology and rheumatology and faculty will continue their engagements in medical student and resident education.
