Dr. Vishnu Garla has been named Associate Medicine Director for the UMMC Clinical Research and Trials Unit. Dr. Garla is an Assistant Professor in the
Candice Adams has been appointed the Director of Ambulatory Services for the Department of Medicine. In this role, she will be responsible for helping develop goals and strategies, implement process interventions, and manage trends for the DOM ambulatory practices for all divisions.
Dr. Deborah Konkle-Parker is a Professor in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Infectious Diseases, School of Nursing, and School of Population Health. She has worked at UMMC since 1996. Here, she tells us about her research and her passion for health disparity research.
