UMMC Department of Medicine and American College of Physicians (ACP) hosted the 2018 ACP Abstract Day on October 25th in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union. Over 100 posters and 6 oral presentations were delivered by students, residents, and fellows from UMMC and statewide. The keynote speaker was Dr. Danny Newman, current Chair of the ACP Council of Early Career Physicians.
The highest scored abstract in each category was awarded a certificate and an acceptance to present their work at the National ACP Conference in Philadelphia, PA in April 2019. Awardees listed below.
