Dr. Lyssa Weatherly, Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatrics, was awarded the School of Medicine’s “Clinical Professor of the Year,” which was voted on by the 2018-2019 M3 and M4 medical students. Dr. Weatherly was also inducted into the Nelson Order, which includes the institution’s best teachers as selected by students, their peers and recommended by the deans of their respective schools. Dr. Weatherly practices internal medicine and geriatrics and serves as Co-Director of the M3 Clinical Bootcamp Course, Co-Director of the Introduction to Medical Profession II Course, and Co-Director of the internal medicine residency’s Clinician Educator Track. She also is an Associate Program Director for the internal medicine residency program.
