Dr. Beverly “Gwen” Windham has been appointed to the Clinical Neuroscience and Neurodegeneration Study Section at the Center for Scientific Review by the National Institutes of Health. Her term began July 1, 2021 and will end in 2025. Members are selected on the basis of their demonstrated competence and achievement in their scientific discipline as evidenced by the quality of research accomplishments, publications in scientific journals, and other scientific achievements. Dr. Windham is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics and also a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, the nation’s largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to the field of aging. Congratulations to Dr. Windham as she contributes to the national biomedical research efforts.
