Sharon Douglas, MD, is a Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. Dr. Douglas served as the Associate Dean for Education at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, where she practiced for 35 years. Her many years of dedicated service and her dual devotion to veteran health and physician education continue to leave a vital, active imprint across the medical community.

Kimberly Harkins, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Harkins is an Associate Program Director for the internal medicine residency program. She has been involved in education since her year as a chief resident, and her exceptional leadership and mentorship, alongside her profound impact on patient care, remain an invaluable cornerstone of the residency program’s ongoing success.

Barbara Craft, MD, is a Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Craft serves as Director of the Breast Cancer Treatment and Prevention Program, dedicating a quarter-century to advanced oncologic care. For 25 years, her outstanding clinical care has brought comfort and healing to countless families. This milestone celebrates her enduring dedication and the profound impact she has made on the community.

Michelle Horn, MD, is a Professor and Division Director for the Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Horn has provided expert patient care for 25 years while championing the department’s student education. Her leadership has been essential to the success of the department’s educational programs.

John Winscott, MD, is a Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases and in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Winscott has established himself as the region’s trusted authority in complex peripheral interventions over the past two decades and is a cornerstone of the vascular community.

Trey Abraham, MD, is a Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. Dr. Abraham is heavily involved in the education and curricula of pulmonary and critical care fellows in the fields of ICU care, pulmonary diseases, and interventional pulmonology. He has been a pillar of the regional critical care and interventional pulmonary landscape over the past twenty years.
