The Department of Medicine earned top honors at Evers Awards

Congratulations to the Department of Medicine for being awarded bothย M3 and M4 Department of the Yearย by the Carl G. Evers Society! The Department of Medicine has won these awards for the past 19 years and they serve as evidence of the department’s dedication to education and is a testament to the hard work of our faculty, staff, and trainees. These awards are chosen based on evaluations by the students in each medical school class. Dr. Demondes Haynes, Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care, served as keynote speaker.
