We welcomed 57 interns and 26 fellows to the Department of Medicine this month! This includes 25 categorical, 1 primary care, 5 medicine-pediatrics, and 26 additional preliminary or rotating interns who will spend anywhere from 6-12 months in the Department.
Congratulations to Dr. Jimmy Stewart on celebrating 25 years at UMMC! Dr. Stewart is a Professor in the divisions of General Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is currently serving as the Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education.
