Suzanne Clay served the Department of Medicine for over 50 years in various administrative capacities and is regarded by most to be one of its most influential leaders. She is beloved and admired by many, including four former Chairs, whose tributes are shown here. But first, she shares some memories of her time at UMMC.
Dr. Richard Wardrop, III has been selected to serve on the Internal Medicine Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and as a member of the ACP Education Committee.
Dr. Adrienne Tin recently joined the MIND Center and Division of Nephrology as an Associate Professor. She obtained her doctoral and post-doctoral training in epidemiology with a concentration in genetics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Then she joined the faculty of the Department of Epidemiology at the Bloomberg School of Public Health prior to coming to UMMC.

Dr. Michal Senitko, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Surgery, has been named Co-Director of UMMC’s Cancer Center and Research Institute’s Lung Cancer Early Detection Program. Dr. Senitko completed his internal medicine residency and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at UMMC. He also completed an additional interventional pulmonology fellowship at Yale University.
Dr. Andrew (Andy) Wilhelm is a faculty member in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. Dr. Wilhelm is currently serving on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic in his clinical role and is also part of UMMC’s COVID implementation team.
