UMMC is starting eight clinical trials in the next days and weeks related to COVID-19. Drs. Gailen Marshall and Jason Parham both are serving as principal investigators in several trials with many other faculty members also involved as co-investigators. Gabriel Hernandez, MD FACC recently published the article “Heart transplantation and ināhospital outcomes in adult congenital heart disease patients with Fontan: A decade nationwide analysis from 2004 to 2014” in the Journal of Cardiac Surgery. Dr. Adrienne Tin recently joined the MIND Center and Division of Nephrology as an Associate Professor. She obtained her doctoral and post-doctoral training in epidemiology with a concentration in genetics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Then she joined the faculty of the Department of Epidemiology at the Bloomberg School of Public Health prior to coming to UMMC.
